Toxikon Europe welcomed more than 1,200 visitors to their open house in Leuven, Belgium on October 5, including Patricia Ceysens, Flemish Minister of Economy, Science, Innovation and Foreign Trade.

The open house was part of a regional government initiative in Belgium known as "Open Bedrijivendag," where companies have the opportunity to provide the public with an inside, behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of their business and operations.

Nearly 500 companies participated in this year's annual event, said Jos Bollen, Toxikon Europe's Business Development Director.

Toxikon Europe employees showed visitors poster presentations about the company's history, quality assurance methods and an overview of the test models the facility performs on a regular basis. Staff also provided guests a walking tour of their new, state-of-the-art building and lab facilities.
