Bedford, Mass.  -- Times are tough, but Toxikon doesn't plan on making them any tougher for their clients.

In negotiations with department heads and fellow management, Toxikon's CEO, Dr. Laxman Desai, decided against raising prices for the contract testing lab's services in 2009.

The decision is a serious undertaking, as the corporation's offerings encompass several divisions  of services, including chemistry, toxicology, biocompatibility and microbiology.

"We have a long history of competitive pricing.  This year we will be keeping the prices the same as last year," said Laurence Lister, Toxikon's Director of Biocompatibility Services.
